CanQueer's Luke was able to attend and record the session on the role that Canada can play in the advancement of human rights of LGBTI people globally.

Carlos Idibouo moderated the session, he is an activist with many organizations in Cote d’Ivoire, Montréal and Toronto. Kim Vance is executive director of ARC International. Maurice Tomlinson is with the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and works to support the advancement of LGBT equality in the Caribbean region. Mark Allen is the Executive Director – Human Rights & Indigenous Affairs, for the Office of Human Rights, Freedoms and Inclusion. Meghan Watkinson is Deputy Director – Governance, at Global Affairs Canada.
